Boone Memorial Health Hosts Third Annual Community Drive-Through Thanksgiving Dinner
Boone Memorial Health held it's Third Annual Community Drive-Through Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday, November 20, at Scott High School in Madison from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Hot, ready-to-eat meals, were prepared by the hospital's Dietary Department. Each meal included turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, rolls, cranberry sauce, and cake.

​In its first year, 2021, the hospital served 1,700 meals and approximately 2,500 in 2022. This year, with help from community and student volunteers, BMH served over 3,600.
Boone Memorial Health Hosts Ribbon Cutting and Tours of New BMH Danville Clinic
Boone Memorial Hospital, Inc. (dba Boone Memorial Health) (BMH), has officially cut the ribbon to commemorate the opening of its new clinic location in Danville, W.Va.

The BMH Danville Clinic, a rural health clinic of Boone Memorial Health, occupies the space formerly known as the DaVita building on 300 4th Avenue in Danville. Boone Memorial Health purchased the property in June 2023, completing renovations in late October to offer expanded space for the health system’s walk-in clinic and growing number of specialty services.
Boone Memorial Health Hosts Breast Cancer Prevention Lunch and Learn
The BMH Foundation for Community Health held a Breast Cancer Prevention Lunch & Learn on Friday, October 20.

Presenter, Ladie Viars, BSN, RN, Director of Clinical Education and Community Health, shared tips and strategies for preventing breast cancer. Lora Ballard, RT(R)M, BMH Radiology Lead Mammography Technologist spoke about new advancements in mammography and the importance of conducting self breast exams and getting a yearly mammogram.

Local survivors; Daisy Plaster, Joy Goodson, and Trena Adkins shared their emotional and inspiring stories. Both Joy and Trena are hospital employees.
