Boone Memorial Hospital is integrally linked with our community and welcomes community members to participate fully in hospital activities.
The hospital sponsors various events such as its Annual Health Fair, Drive Through
Flu Shot Clinic, Christmas Spirit activities and Blood Drives to name a few. We realize the community plays a key role in supporting our hospital programs and services. Therefore, we extend an invitation to you and your family to volunteer alongside
our staff to build on this already strong foundation, while in turn creating life-long friendships and relationships.

Auxiliary
The Auxiliary became part of the BMH
Family only nineteen months after the
hospital opened its doors in 1964. Since
that time they have proven to be a vital
and integral part of the facility and
community.
Leadership
The Boone Memorial Hospital Auxiliary provides leadership and service to our community, our members, and our hospital. These dedicated volunteers assist in funding many special needs projects for the hospital, support the hospital in providing a variety of health services and events and serve as the official greeters to the general public upon entering our facility.
They promote opportunities for their members to encourage self-growth, fulfillment and commitment.
The Auxiliary offers board and committee chair positions to individuals willing to make a 1 or 2 year commitment to the board.
Education
The Auxiliary provides annual scholarships to local high school students.
Volunteering
Opportunities are available throughout the hospital to use your skills to support
Boone Memorial Hospital, its staff and patients.
Committee assignments range from volunteering at the gift shop to assisting with fundraising events and service projects or working on a year-long project.
Fundraising
Use your talents to help raise funds to sponsor projects that enhance the quality of care at Boone Memorial Hospital.
In addition to the Gift Shop the Auxiliary also hosts jewelry sales, food/baked good sales and other fundraisers throughout the year.
