BMH Volunteen Program
The Boone Memorial Hospital Volunteen Program was established in 2019. BMH Volunteens are dedicated to leadership and service and volunteer their time and talents within the hospital.
BMH Volunteens are the youth voice at BMH. Known for their name, FOX, these teens are Focused on Xcellence.
Volunteens assist hospital departments with various projects such as greeting and interacting with patients and delivering magazines, blankets, drinks, etc. They may work the information booth, assist with mailings, hospital and community events and more.

Students gain hands-on work experience, further develop and strengthen leadership skills all while improving the quality of life of others.
Volunteens will be recognized each year at the annual hospital award’s banquet. Special appreciation events will be held and students receive the hospital employee discount for meals.
