Hospital CEO speaks at Brookview Honor Society Induction & students present picture for display

Boone Memorial Hospital Chief Executive Officer Virgil Underwood was a guest speaker at the Brookview Elementary School National Honor Society Induction held on May 17, 2016 in Foster, WV.

A few of the student inductees are children of hospital staff, including Mallory Jett, daughter of Toni Mullins, Director of Radiology.

"Mr. Underwood gave a great speech about service and character. At the end of the ceremony, the students presented him with a picture to be hung in the new hospital," explained Mullins.

The new Boone Memorial Hospital is scheduled to open next month.

"We are very appreciative of the picture," said Underwood. "We will proudly display it in our new hospital. These students are not only intelligent, they are extremely thoughtful as well."
