BMH Holds Lunch and Learn in Honor of Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month

The Boone Memorial Foundation for Community Health held a FREE Lunch and Learn in Danville on Thursday, June 22. Special guest, Teresa Morris, Program Director for the Alzheimer's Association, WV Chapter, presented on Alzheimer's and Dementia in honor of Alzheimer's and Brain Awareness Month, which included risk factors, stages, treatments, research, and resources available for Alzheimer's and Dementia.
Participants enjoyed a complimentary Heavenly Ham lunch and gift bag. This Lunch and Learn session is one in a series of at least six per year hosted by the Boone Memorial Foundation.
