BMH Welcomes new Chief Financial Officer, Chad Hovis

Chad Hovis joined the Administrative Team at Boone Memorial Hospital on November 26, 2018 as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Chad has over twenty years of Healthcare Consulting experience developing and implementing strategies to increase reimbursement for hospitals and physician clinics. He graduated Valedictorian from Logan High School in 1991 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Marshall University in 1995.

Prior to coming to Boone Memorial, Chad was the Healthcare Consulting Senior Manager at Arnett Carbis Toothman, PLLC and a Healthcare Consulting Manager for DHG Healthcare’s National Reimbursement Practice, both located in Charleston, WV.

Chad is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (WVSCPA). He also serves as a board member for the Bible Center School in Charleston.

Chad currently resides in Charleston with his wife of 12 years, Sarah. They have 2 children, Ella and Will. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, spending time with his children and exercising.

As Chief Financial Officer, Chad will implement processes and systems that will significantly improve financial outcomes at Boone Memorial Hospital. Hospital Administration, Board of Directors and employees welcome Chad to the Boone Memorial Hospital family!
