Hospital Employees at Boone Memorial hosted the 2nd Annual Spring Clean during the week of April 22nd - April 26th.

Chief Operating Officer, Mark Linville, came up with the idea last year.
"I thought it would be a good way to keep our hospital looking vibrant and new, just like the day we opened in 2016. Plus it's a great morale booster and promotes teamwork. Several departments came together to make the event a success," said Linville.

A few projects consisted of power washing, painting, mulching, planting shrubs and flowers, scrubbing down walls and light fixtures, and more.

Employees who contributed at least 2 hours or more were entered to win $50 gift cards and a 65" Television. Winners included; Isaac Wallace, Housekeeping Department, Angie Roe, Dietary Department, Elwanda Johnson, Housekeeping Department, Sherry Conley, Laboratory Department, Lindsay Brown, Physical Therapy/Sports Medicine Department and Joy Saddler, Dietary Department. The winner of the 65" flat screen television was Timmy Jeffrey, Housekeeping Department.

A celebratory cook-out (free to all employees) was held on the final day of Spring Clean Week, April 26th. Food was prepared by the hospital Dietary Team.

"The hospital and grounds look great," said Chief Executive Officer, Virgil Underwood. "I'm impressed with the amount of work completed in just one week. We have a dedicated team of employees here who take pride in our facility."
