BMH Welcomes Dr. Ron Chattin, Family Medicine

Boone Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome home Dr. Ronald "Ron" Chattin.

Dr. Chattin has nearly 40 years experience in Family Medicine. He graduated from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg and completed his internship at Carson City Hospital in Carson City, MI. Dr. Chattin completed his undergraduate degree at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Chattin was on Courtesy Staff at Boone Memorial from 1995-2006. He began his career at the Logan Medical Foundation in Logan, WV in the mid to late 80's where he did both inpatient and outpatient Family Medicine at Guyan Valley Hospital. In addition, Dr. Chattin worked at the Community Health Foundation of Man and Madison Family Care. He recently comes to BMH from Family Care of Madison located on Main Street.
Dr. Chattin is ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certified. He also served as an ACLS Instructor in 1993 and 1994 and as a Preceptor at the Marshall University School of Medicine. Over the years, Dr. Chattin has served on various committees at both Boone Memorial Hospital and Logan Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Chattin has four children, five grandchildren, two cats and one dog. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, boating, outdoor work and spending time with his family.
