Gina Moore joined the Administrative Team at Boone Memorial Hospital on Nov 4, 2019 as the Executive Director of Outpatient Clinics. Gina will work closely with physicians and support staff to further develop and strengthen business strategies and processes. In addition, she will manage personnel, enhance communication and build a strong team environment.

"First and foremost, my goal is to represent Boone Memorial Hospital in a positive light and build meaningful professional relationships to strengthen the foundation. Furthermore, I will strive to improve current processes and create a team approach to positively impact the working environment, while making each employee and patient who walks through our doors feel important and a priority."

Prior to coming to Boone Memorial Hospital, Gina was the Director of Revenue Cycle Management/Senior Practice Management Consultant at FocusOne in Charleston, WV. In this position, she provided leadership and consulting expertise in supporting the deployment of revenue cycle management solutions across new physician practices in WV and NJ. In addition, she mentored and trained staff and oversaw new business development, performance goals, monthly coding/billing audits, database administration, financial/business reporting requirements, month-end close processes, compliance and project coordination. Before her time at FocusOne, Gina served as the AVP, Physician Practice Billing and Director of Physician Services at Pikeville Medical Center.

Gina received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Merchandising from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, Virginia. She has spent 15 years in healthcare and received multiple certifications in EHR systems, coding and management. Additionally she is a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), American College of Healthcare Executives, National Rotary Association and the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW). Gina is dedicated to professional development.

"I've attended various conferences to enhance my knowledge of healthcare and continue to stay up to date on future trends and changes so I can help our physicians, clinics and hospital."

Gina currently resides in South Charleston, WV. She has three adult children; twin girls Erin and Lorin and one son, Christopher. Erin and Lorin graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Erin is a Virginia Police Officer and Lorin works in the accounting field. Christopher is in hotel management.

In Gina's spare time she enjoys entertaining with friends and family, playing tennis, golfing and deep sea fishing. She is involved in her community and volunteers at church, serving where needed.

When asked why Gina chose Boone Memorial Hospital, she said “I want to help and be part of a great hospital who has wonderful physicians and people who want to make a difference".

"I am very impressed with the administrative team, physicians, nurses, and support staff. Everyone is vested in West Virginia and the community. When I met the CEO, Virgil Underwood, he told me BMH not only stood for Boone Memorial Hospital, but 'Bringing Medicine Home'. To me, that spoke volumes. As a native to West Virginia, I want to be part of a strong, respected hospital that gives the best medical care to the people of WV. I am honored to be part of the BMH team and hope to be a positive influence, so we can continue to grow and keep BMH a beacon of light for everyone we serve."
