BMH Family Medical Center Walk-in Clinic reopens

The Boone Memorial Hospital Family Medical Center Walk-in Clinic, located on the hospital campus, has reopened.

"Clinic hours of operation are 8AM - 6PM, seven days a week," said Gina Moore, Executive Director of Outpatient Clinics. "To ensure patient safety, we will separate sick patients from well patients upon arrival, until further notice," she explained. "The health and safety of our patients and staff still remains our top priority."

The walk-in clinic portion of the Family Medical Center is located on the first floor, while Primary Care providers; Amy Sayre, MD and Chad Adkins, DO, along with Specialty Providers; Melissa Moody, MD (Psychiatry) and Casey Hager, MD (Cardiology) continue to see patients on the third floor. In addition, the outpatient Pharmacy is housed on the second floor. It is open by drive-through only until Tuesday, May 26th at which point walk-in services will resume. The Pharmacy has extended its drive-through hours to 8:30AM - 6:00PM, Monday - Friday and 9:00AM - 2:00PM, Saturday.

In addition to reopening the Walk-in Clinic, Boone Memorial Hospital has resumed all services, including elective surgeries and has reopened its Dietary Department/Cafeteria (with COVID-19 restrictions in place).

While services have resumed, Boone Memorial Hospital continues to screen all patients who enter the facility and clinics, follows social distancing guidelines and requires all patients and staff to wear face masks. BMH will continue the no visitation policy in its Emergency Room, Clinics and Inpatient Floor until further notice.

Please note the Walk-in Clinic will be closed Memorial Day.
