In an effort to continue to protect patients from potential exposure to the coronavirus, Boone Memorial Hospital is temporarily relocating its Walk-in Clinic, currently located on the hospital campus in the Family Medical Center, to 173 State Street (across from the Madison Animal Hospital).

"We feel this move is the best decision to keep our patients safe," said Gina Moore, Executive Director of Outpatient Clinics. "It will allow us to keep separation among our patients
amidst the COVID-19 crises."
The Walk-in Clinic will keep its current hours and days of operation; 8am-6pm, 7 days a week.
"We will also offer COVID-19 testing once the move is complete," said Moore. "We currently have a COVID-19 Drive-Thru located in Danville (beside United Bank), which is open from 9am-1pm, Monday-Friday. That testing site has been extremely busy, so we want to offer a second location at our Walk-in Clinic," she said.
The move should take place early-mid August.
"We are working tirelessly to make the move happen as soon as possible," Moore said. "Although it's temporary, we want to ensure things are done correctly to make the transition easy for our staff and patients."
The providers located on the 3rd floor of the Family Medical Center will not move, however.
"Chad Adkins, DO; Amy Sayre, MD; Casey Hager, MD and Melissa Moody, MD will remain on the 3rd Floor of the Family Medical Center," explained Moore.
Once the Walk-In Clinic move is complete, the hospital will post signage and detailed information on its website at BMH.ORG.
